Well. lately I've been busy — equally so have the spammers! I guess that one could take it as a compliment that so many (spam) comment entries are made on their personal blog/webpage… even some that appear to be manually crafted as to avoid automatic filtration systems. In my case, the filtration is manual, and tonight I had to go through five pages of comment postings (~20 per page) making sure I didn't delete any legitimate voices from the din of diatribe.

Speaking of legitimate: All of my friends in the coastal Georgia area should mark their calendars for Friday, September 11: Bryan Stovall Gallery & Studio is having an Artists Reception for a new show of Coastal Georgia photography by Dr. Curt Hames and Mr. Eric Hartley. Linda and I intend to attend, and based solely upon his recommendation I think you should too! Aside from his own amazing talent, Brian is trying to create a photographic artists' space in downtown Savannah; I, for one, support his effort to rejuvenate our local artisan culture — what has happened (or not) to the Starlight District aside! His space, the Brian Stovall Gallery & Studio, is located downtown across from the new City Market underground parking garage at 10 Whitaker Street. His work is amazing, demanding to be experienced… and we are looking forward to the upcoming unveiling!
