Description
An essential component of Chef Lee's Bread Pudding, this sauce can be used anywhere you need a smooth yet rich, non-glazing Vanilla topping.
Ingredients
- 1 Egg (Beaten)
- 3 T Brown Sugar (Light or Dark)
- 1⁄2 c Sugar
- 2 T Butter (Melted)
- 1 T Flour
- 1 t Vanilla Extract
- 1 ds Nutmeg
- 1 1⁄4 c Whipping Cream
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in the top of a double boiler. Cook, stirring until thickened.
